Education
Chiropractic education focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and the effects of these disorders on the nervous system and general health. The curriculum typically includes coursework in anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology, orthopedic, nutrition, radiology, physical therapy, and chiropractic adjusting techniques. Practical experience in the form of clinical rotations and internships is also a common part of the educational program. In order to practice as a chiropractor, one must obtain a license from their state licensing board.
